May 14th-17th, 2026 was our "WILD About The 2026 Fair", and it truly was WILD.
We brought back an exotic adventure to the Antioch, CA area with all your favorite Rides, Food & Entertainment! We had REAL WILD Animals as well as DINOSAURS along with the return of the RODEO with "Bulls & Broncs" after more than 20+ years and so much more!
This entire experience was only possible because of a dedicated team and generous sponsorships along the help of so many others throughout the Antioch, CA. area. Most of all we would like to thank YOU, our community. without you, each year would be a failure and without our community. We want to thank you representing Contra Costa in an incredible way this year. Your positive spirits and cooperation helped create a fun, welcoming and safe environment for everyone. We look forward to seeing you all again this next year as we bring the fair back even bigger and better!

With the return of the Bulls & Broncs Rodeo to the Contra Costa County Fair, history books finally found a reason to exist... After more than 20 years, the rodeo returned to these grounds. And thanks to the incredible support of our community, every seat sold out, leaving standing room only. We couldn’t have asked for a better welcome back and are already looking forward to bringing an even bigger and better rodeo next year. Until then, enjoy some of our favorite memories from an unforgettable night.
From the towering Ferris wheel and thrilling Zipper to the Haunted Mansion, exciting midway games, camel rides, and our family-friendly petting zoo, there’s something for everyone at the Contra Costa County Fair. We’re proud to partner with Midway of Fun, whose incredible rides, attractions, and dedication help create the unforgettable carnival experience our guests look forward to each year.

The Contra Costa County Fair Junior Livestock Auction reached a record-breaking $838,715.53 for 2026! e couldn't have done it without you.
One of this year’s biggest attractions was our incredible Wild & Exotic Animal Experience, presented by Pacific Animal Productions. Guests had the opportunity to get up close with fascinating animals from around the world, including a live zebra, snakes, reptiles, emus, colorful singing birds, bugs, spiders, and more. It was an unforgettable educational experience that gave fairgoers of all ages the chance to discover
Each year, the Miss Contra Costa Royal Court recognizes outstanding young women who represent the Contra Costa County Fair with pride, leadership, and community spirit. We are proud to introduce our 2026 Royal Court and congratulate Miss Contra Costa - Emelia Brown, 1st Runner Up - Kaylee Wright, 2nd Runner Up - Yareli Santuario, Mini Miss Contra Costa Gianna Lynch, 1st Runner-Up Chloe Pettyjohn, and 2nd Runner Up - Teigen Moore. We congratulate each contestant for their hard work and dedication and look forward to all they will accomplish throughout the year.
Our Funnel Cake Eating Contests were one of the sweetest highlights of the fair! Hosted by our amazing concession vendor, William Gardiner, contestants competed in two age divisions for bragging rights... but just when they thought they had it figured out, they were surprised with a generous helping of whipped cream, making the challenge even messier and more fun. With Bigfoot, dinosaurs, and an energetic crowd cheering everyone on, it was a memorable event filled with laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of powdered sugar.
The Estrella Stage was alive with incredible entertainment throughout the fair, featuring something for every age and musical taste. Guests enjoyed unforgettable performances from Outlaw Mariachi, Nathan Owen’s Kool Wind & Fire, That ’70s Band, Joker on Jack, Damage Control, Matthew Balling, Junie Ma, Powerhouse Dance, and many more. From live music and dance to high-energy performances, our talented entertainers helped create an exciting atmosphere and lasting memories all weekend long.
The Wiener Dog Races brought plenty of smiles, excitement, and adorable competition to the fair on Saturday, May 16th. Along with our dachshund racers, we also welcomed small dog and corgi divisions, giving even more furry friends the chance to race for the crowd. Fairgoers cheered on these speedy pups as they dashed toward the finish line, creating a fun-filled event that was enjoyed by dog lovers of all ages. We can’t wait to see our four-legged competitors return for more racing fun!
The Flat Track Motorcycle Racing event brought high-speed excitement to the Grandstands on Saturday, May 16th, as racers of all ages took to the track for an action-packed day of competition. With multiple age divisions showcasing incredible skill, speed, and determination, riders put on an unforgettable show for fairgoers. We’re proud to have brought this thrilling event to the Contra Costa County Fair and look forward to creating more exciting memories in the future.
Our Still Exhibits Building showcased the incredible creativity and talent found throughout Contra Costa County and beyond. Guests explored a wide variety of handmade and artistic exhibits, including beautiful paintings, quilts, blankets, pottery, drawings, photography, crafts, and so much more. These exhibits celebrate the dedication, skill, and imagination of our local artists and makers, making the building a must-see destination at the fair.
A longtime fair favorite, Cook’s Pig Races have been entertaining fairgoers for decades, and we were thrilled to welcome them back to the Contra Costa County Fair this year. Guests of all ages gathered to cheer on the speedy piglets, enjoy the lively shows, and even win fun prizes during each race. We’re grateful to Cook’s Pig Races for bringing so much excitement to the fair, and we look forward to welcoming them back for more unforgettable performances in the years to come.
